About Us
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (English: Clean India Mission) is a campaign by the Government of India to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country's 4,041 statutory cities and towns. It includes ambassadors and activities such as run, national real-time monitoring or spread of updated NGOs practices.
List of adopted villages
THIRUVENCHERRY
Thiruvencherry is located in Kanchipuram District. Our students conducted various activities in the village.
- Medical camp held on 7th NOVEMBER 2016, at Thiruvencherry. Inaugurated by Dr.Igbal, Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital.
- TREE plantation was held on 7th April 2017, Thiruvencherry Village organized by Our Volunteers. Inaugurated by Ex. MC. Janakiraman.
- Clean India was held on 3rd April 2017, Thiruvencherry Village organized by Our Volunteers. Inaugurated by Ex. Panchayat President. Ponnukrishnan.
VENGAMBAKKAM
Vengampakkam is located in Kanchipuram District. Our Students conducted various activities in the village.
- Blood Donation Voluntarism Registration held on 20th October 2016, Conducted by our students & Venkambakkam Village - Inagural Function, Asaliappan-Ward-II, Ward Member.
- EYE-check up camp held on 22rd of January 2016, Coordinated by our students & Lions Club- Ln.Tamilselvan -Vasan Eye Care, Tambaram.
- Orientation Programme [Health Awareness] held on 8th Feburary 2017, inaugurated by Dr.Palivel Rajan, Camp Road.
- Science day rally was held on 28thFebruary 2017, inaugurated by Mr.Shanmugam, Head Master, Vengambakkam Govt School.
MAPPEDU
Mappedu is located in Kanchipuram District. Our students conducted various activities in the village.
- Medical Camp Held at Mappedu by Balaji Medical College and Hospital organized by Our Students.
- Clean India held on 15th Feb 2017, The NSS Unit organized NSS Special Camp from 15.03.17 at Mappedu.
- Voting Awareness Rally at Mappedu organized by Our Students.
SELAIYUR
Selaiyur is located in kanchipuram district. Our students conducted various activities in the village.
- Blood donation awarness was conducted on 30th August 2016, Govt Hospital Stanley, Chennai by Dr.Inbasekaran.
- Clean India held ON 23rd March 2017, Inagurated by Mr.Rajendran, Sub Inspector of Police.
- TREE plantation was held on 7th April 2017, Inagurated by Mr.Dhamotharan, Ex-MC, Selaiyur.
- National Youth Policy Rally was held on 13th April 2017, Inagurated by Mr.Vasu, Ex-MC, Bharath Nagar, Selaiyur.
M.G.R NAGAR AND BHARATHI NAGAR
M.G.R Nagar & Bharath Nagar is located in Kanchipuram District. Our students conducted various activities in the village.
- Blood Donation held on 25th October 2016 conducted by Meavakkam Primary Health Centre Govt. of Tamil Nadu -Dr.Ramesh and his team members.
- Medical camp held on 9th NOVEMBER 2016 conducted by Balaji Medical College and Hospital-Dr.Igbal and his team members.
- Clean India held on 27th and 28th January 2017 organized by Bharath University.
- Toilet Construction based on Clean India Awareness at M.G.R Nagar Village held on 10th March 2017.
Kundrathur
Kundrathur is located in Kanchipuram District. Our students conducted various activities in the village.
- DENTAL CAMP was held on 9th September 2016 Conducted by our college inaugurated by Ex.MC.Mr.Dhamodharan .
- Tree Plantation was held on 20th October 2017 Conducted by our college Volunteers and inaugurated by Kumar Inspector of Police.
- Plastic Awarness Rally was held on 26th November 2017 joinly organized by Lions club and inaugurated By Ln . Tamilselvan.
- Clean India was held on 16th January 2017 organised by our volunteers and Inaugurated by Thiru K.Sowrirajan District Revenue Officer.
NATTARASAMPATTU
- Sree Balaji Medical college & Hospital team organised a school health /awareness program as flood relief measure. Dr. Kavimani (Programme officer) and Dr. Glory Josephine (Co ordinator) Srimathi Lakshmiammal memorial matric higher secondary school, was selected and health camp conducted on 5-1-2016.

- Temple /Ponds cleaning CLEAN INDIA-GREEN INDIA (SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN)”. ORGANISED BY Dr. Kavimani, Dr.Mohan kumar ,Dr.Glory Josephine.
- Health survey – Serpanancherry (18-03-17) ORGANISED BY Dr.Glory Josephine.
- Sree Balaji Medical Colege & Hospital conducted the camp from 23/03/15 to 29/03/15 at Serpanacherry rural health centre.
- Sree Balaji Medical College – Nephrology ,Urology departments organized an organ donation awareness programme on 26-11-16 was inaugurated by Dean.
- Sree Balaji Medical College –organized a Traffic safety awareness programme on 12-8-16 inaugurated by Dean and vice principal.
- Tree planting –Navalur, Serpanancherry ( 15-03-17).
